Ever wanted to download a YouTube video to watch offline, due to a lack of internet or data costs?
Well, here’s three ways to do so from your browser, all tested by us to be virus free.
While YouTube doesn’t officially support downloading videos hosted on their site, it has been improving in recent months with the Red programme and downloads for mobile devices in developing countries.
Despite that, both options are extremely limiting and get in the way of times when you really need a video on your hard drive instead of online.
While these measures are in place to prevent piracy and other illegal activities, it’s still useful for downloading a training video, getting a backup of one that you uploaded, or even for presentations.
