Mendietta received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in September of 2018.
She was a teacher for fifth and sixth grade students in Alice before she attended nursing school.
She has helped the community as a home health registered nurse.
“I’ve had an opportunity to serve children through education and now I get to assist them on a whole different level,” Mendietta said.
I can never get enough of their innocent personalities and truthfulness.
They are so vulnerable, yet so brave.
They have been serving the Alice community for 45 years.
The practice continues to be 100 percent invested in the Alice community and I’m so thankful to be apart of it now,” Mendietta said.
“I’m super excited to become a provider to the littlest citizens and their families in Alice and the surrounding community,” Tara Mendietta stated.

Dr. Howard was the on-call pediatrician when our two-month-old son was hospitalized. She made sure that all measures were taken to ensure that our son had the best treatment, and followed up on him at home. Thank you Dr. Howard for being knowledgeable, kind and caring!
