HP’s last premium Chromebook, the detachable-keyboard $599 Chromebook x2 , is expensive among Chrome OS devices but still a decent value for what you get.
You can keep opening it, in fact, to rotate the hinge through 360 degrees, transforming the laptop into a tablet.
Like many Chromebooks, the Chromebook x360 14 G1 prominently features the Chrome logo on the display lid.
Overall, the port selection here is very generous for a Chromebook, and it certainly befits the Chromebook x360’s higher price.
Of course, you can still use the Chromebook x360 14 in plain old Laptop mode, which is best suited to getting work done.
Depending on what work you’re doing, you can outfit the Chromebook with up to 16GB of memory (more than enough for most Chrome OS users) and an Intel Core i7-8650U (a quad-core/eight-thread CPU that’s overkill for nearly all users).
