EINDHOVEN, NETHERLANDS and SAN JOSE, CA–(Marketwire – Apr 27, 2011) – NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI ) today announced CGVxpress™, an important extension to its high speed data converter technology portfolio and the next generation of the CGV™ high speed serial interface announced in 2009.
The first demonstration of CGVxpress will occur at booth #420 of the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (MTT-S) held June 7-9, 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland.
MDS solves tough system synchronization and latency challenges in many digital communications system applications, including LTE and LTE-Advanced MIMO radio base stations.

The CGV interface currently appears on several products in NXP’s high speed ADC and DAC product line — including the ADC1413D and DA1408D product families.
