“We’re looking into it and if the situation warrants, we’ll put up [an informational] card, or look at other options,” a UPN spokeswoman said yesterday.
UPN and show producer Paramount were hit earlier this week with charges from a former producer Bob Jaffe that he was asked by a Paramount executive to protect a contestant from elimination in the show and to get the contestants together after the show was shot to reshoot segments of them interacting.
Jaffe, Paramount and UPN claim the outcome of the show was not affected by the reshoots, however, the allegations again raise questions about the entire reality genre.
“UPN and Paramount have not supported and would not support persons or practices designed to manipulate the outcomes of the show,” a Paramount spokeswoman said, reading from a prepared statement.
And what happens when a highly touted show goes bad.
Few involved in the program actually believe in it, and UPN officials, led by president Dean Valentine, ultimately turned the editorial control of the show over to Paramount executives Gary Hart, president of Paramount Network Television, and Kerry McCluggage, chairman of Paramount TV Group.
Ironically, the concept of “Manhunt” came from WWF chairman Vince McMahon, who helped develop the show more than a year ago.
However, McMahon, at the time himself struggling to get the XFL off the ground and buying rival World Championship Wrestling, opted out of the series.
“We handed off the concept,” a WWF spokesman said yesterday.
“We were out of it pretty early on.

As I picked up my morning coffee, I scoped out the place for possible prey. A new cock to suck from a suitable guy was on my breakfast menu. I made eye contact with a good-looking 30-something but quickly realized that he was a former conquest. As he approached to say hello, I raised my hand like a traffic cop and shook my head no. He stopped and retreated, obviously disappointed. I was looking for some fresh meat. However, I was so horny and hungry for cock and hot cum that if nothing new was to my liking I would go back to the 30-something, but I had to act quickly, as always.
