SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – OCTOBER 01: Ermin Omerovic, a 19-year-old man living in the central town of Jajce is seen with his brain-controlled bionic prosthetic hand using a computer, on October 01, 2019 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On October, a man in Bosnia and Herzegovina began using his brain-controlled bionic prosthetic hand.
In the US, there were 2.1 million people with limb loss in 2017, and that number is expected to double by 2050.
There are several factors contributing to this loss of comfort including physical activity, hydration levels and fluctuations in weight which lead to pain, skin irritations, soft tissue injuries and a decrease in quality of life.
A team of engineers from Virginia Tech College of Engineering recently won a $400,000 grant from the National Science Foundation to study volume loss and develop smart prosthetic sockets to improve comfort and performance in prostheses.
Through Philen’s work in the Aerospace Structures and Materials Laboratory , the team will use fluidic flexible matrix composites in the socket.
Madigan’s Biomechanics Group will focus on the dynamics of human movement, including the day-to-day challenges related to gait, balance, and slip, trip and fall prevention.
Trevor LeMaster, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering and a transfemoral amputee knows the impact fit plays in prosthetic limbs.
“This smart socket would allow amputees to change the volume of their socket as their limb shrinks in volume throughout the day, giving them more support and comfort,” said LeMaster.

Adult spanking is a curious thing. I mean, most of us did not like being spanked as children. We dreaded spankings, didn’t we? So, why do so many of us long to be spanked as adults. I think for some of us, it is for sexual pleasure. For others, it is to meet an emotional need. Maybe we feel we deserve it before we enjoy fucking. Some parts of society make women feel we are bad if we enjoy being fucked. So, maybe we feel better about our longing if we are punished first. I will tell you why I want you to spank me.
